About the Artist:
In Sandra’s newest series she explores fashion trends by painting directly onto sourced textiles from around the world. As an artist working in oil paint she is constantly attired in paint stained clothing & unable to portray her love of fashion. This series is a love letter to the fashion industry and shows admiration by turning fabric into canvas. For the Out West show this year at the Cathedral this series has turned Western: with cowgals & guys, and local ATX ballet dancers.
