Gallery Intern
The Cathedral Gallery Internship will offer experience with in the ins-and-outs of a running a gallery. This is a part-time, unpaid internship for college credit - must be enrolled in a college or university.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Artist Support – Assist the Artist Manager with art inventory, storage, sales, labeling, installation, updating the online shop, and photographing new artwork as it arrives.
- Event Assistance – Support the Event Manager with event prep, calendar listings, and marketing efforts. Must be available to work at least one event per month (set up, breakdown, check-in, general event support).
- Gallery Management – Assist the Operations Manager with opening/closing, act as receptionist for guests, and maintain the space and inventory.
REQUIREMENTS
- Organized, proactive and detail-oriented
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Interested in learning about a variety of roles within a gallery
- Good eye for design and the ability to follow direction with photography
- Proficient in Excel, Canva, and Shopify is a plus
- Experience in art-related events or art programming a plus
- Availability to work some nights and weekends
- Passionate about community, arts, and working hard to create a positive impact!

Event Contractor
