Gallery Internship - Spring 2026 

The Cathedral Gallery Internship offers hands-on experience with the ins-and-outs of running a versatile gallery. This is a part-time, unpaid internship eligible for college credit only. Applicants must be currently enrolled in school to be considered.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Artist Support – Assist the Artist Manager with art inventory, storage, sales, labeling, installation, updating the online shop, and photographing new artwork 
  • Event Assistance – Support the Event Manager with event prep, calendar listings, and marketing efforts
  • Gallery Management – Assist the Operations Manager with opening/closing, act as receptionist for guests, and maintain the space and inventory

REQUIREMENTS

  • Organized, proactive and detail-oriented
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Interested in learning about a variety of roles within a gallery
  • Good eye for design and the ability to follow direction with photography
  • Proficient in Excel, Canva, and Shopify is a plus
  • Experience in art-related events or art programming a plus
  • Passionate about community, arts, and working hard to create a positive impact!

Event Contractor 

We are always looking for seasonal event staff including bartenders, event movers, and event support/waitstaff. These are hourly paid positions based on availability during peak event seasons.
