"My art practice is a rhythmic cycle: I paint to travel, and I travel to paint.

My work is rooted in deep outdoor observation and the vital importance of play within a studio practice. Whether I am up before dawn chasing a unique horizon line, working out of a lightweight watercolor journal on a remote trail, or translating those quick studies into large oil paintings back in my studio, I strive to capture the true essence of a moment. By letting go of perfectionism, my practice focuses entirely on uncovering deeper narratives within the land, sharing those stories to reconnect others to the wild spaces that recharge us. My studio practice is centered around connection."
