From the Artist:
"There is an age-old struggle in finding a balance between the natural world and
the human condition. I find peace in Nature, in vast open spaces, in rugged
mountain ranges, the resilient desert. It is often an escape from the weight of
daily life and news (a privilege I do not take for granted).
Animal symbolism plays a large role in my work. At times, it has much more depth
than being straight-forward. It is poetic, visual and can assist as a poignant
narrator. I believe The Creator speaks to us through Nature; We are all linked.
These pieces focus on a connection with Nature, whether it be a literal watercolor
portrait of a desert camping space or a fantastic illustration of a floating bison
representing a lifted spirit."
